Muslim Comedian in India denied to have shows due to his religion


 


Munawar Farooqui a young Indian stand-up comedian earlier this year used the Hindu religious figures in one of his shows his intention was not to hurt the sentiments of Hindus but just to make the people of India laugh. Soon after his shows, he faced hatred and outrage by the people, and FIR was registered against him. Since then he is continuously facing discrimination and in his career, a sudden breakdown has been imposed due to the past incident. The artist today tweeted on his official social media handles that "I am done, quitting my work" as during one month 12 of my shows were canceled.


This is not the case with just an individual in India the Muslims either are the rich star kids or anyone if they are Muslims they will be targeted and they are being targeted by the people of India and by particular organizations. 

Muslims all around the world are facing religious discrimination whether they are Indian Muslims, Palestinian or Syrian. Fascism is at its peak in India, thousands of Muslims lost their lives in the 2020 riots in Delhi. No intervention by any UN council body or human rights commission against the culprits.
